I've Been Tagged!

Let me explain.....my fellow blogger Rosetta from Perspectives from the Pipeline tagged me to tell my readers eight random things about myself. According to the rules of tagging, I also can tag eight other bloggers to do the same. Since I'm pretty much anonymous, this should be fun.

Here are the rules:

1) Post these rules before you give your facts
2) List 8 random facts about yourself
3) At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names, linking to them
4) Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they've been tagged

So here goes:

1. I have a twin sister (we're fraternal) and I'm the oldest by 4 minutes. In fact, we're one of four sets of twins in my family.

2. I was born and raised in Washington, D.C., so of course, I'm a fan of D.C.'s homegrown go-go music. My twin sister, my best friend LaShaun (R.I.P.) and I would go to go-go's every weekend to hear bands such as Junkyard, Rare Essence and Chuck Brown. The good ole' days.

3. Like Rosetta, I do have a massive sweet tooth and crave junk food on occasion. My current obsessions are Haagen-Dazs Banana Split ice cream and Utz Honey BBQ potato chips.

4. If I weren't in the grantmaking and philanthropy field, I'd be a fashion designer. I love clothing and accessories. I'm a Libra and I love to shop. I blame my mamma.

5. I'm a fan of hip hop, especially old school and 90's hip hop, such as Poor Righteous Teachers, the Jungle Brothers, Brand Nubian, Tribe Called Quest and Black Moon. BTW, I just bought Common's CD and its amazing.

6. I love a good meal. I will travel for good food. Some of my fave spots are Tao and the N9NE Steakhouse, both in Las Vegas.

7. Although I will travel for a meal, I do love to cook. I began cooking when I started a job at a group home. My granddad is the best cook, hands down. My specialities are southern food (macaroni and cheese, greens, candied yams, potato salad) and desserts, especially pies.

8. My nickname growing up was Bunny.

So these are my eight random facts about myself. Um, unfortunately I don't have eight bloggers to tag (since all but one of my fellow bloggers have since stopped), but I have one:
