CHICAGO - NBA Miami Heat star and Chicago-native Dwyane Wade brought together friends from sports and entertainment for his Wade's World Charity Weekend, a 4-day fundraising event that featured a benefit dinner, bowling event, and youth programs.  Proceeds from the charity weekend benefited the Wade's World Foundation and local Chicago community organizations.

Wade shared, "Chicago is my home and it will always have a special place in my heart. The Wade's World Weekend is all about giving back to the city that helped raise me. I want to make sure the Wade's World Foundation makes a positive footprint within the Chicago-land community. Our mission is to educate kids and help them understand that an education can open the door to opportunity and to a better life."
